Bangladesh accounts for 52 of the top 100 highest-scoring LEED-certified factories worldwide. In January 2026, Hams Garments in Gazipur was certified Platinum with a score of 108 out of 110 — reported as the highest-rated LEED garment factory anywhere.

Verifying a factory's certification
LEED levels shown on supplier profiles are declared by the factory. Bangladesh Apparel validates company and trade information according to its verification procedures, but buyers should request supporting certification evidence and independently check environmental claims before relying on them commercially.
